couple of stadium related highlights:

• been a phonecall from the new council already, Everton will get to them asap

• city council "holds the key to a new stadium" - Everton won't be able build a new stadium without uplift from private and public sectors

• Goodison "too difficult" to rebuild without moving into the terraced houses and garage

• have sat down with the council and reviewed old and new sites - initial list of 12 sites identified by the council whittled down to 4 - also met with with landowners, developers, retailers, potential grand providers - is shortage of finance and funding, need a similar funding model to Kirkby where apparently 40% was going to be built by Tesco (!)

• no stadium will work without the fans buying into it

• "foolish" to rule out a shared stadium

• key to success building and filling a new stadium
